Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is the world’s largest Christmas project that operates year-round to bring the joy of Christmas and hope to over 110 countries. Each year, beginning in October, we will be collecting shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items that are blessed by the love and prayers from our congregation and neighboring churches. Please consider filling a shoebox and bringing it back to the church to start its journey across the globe to reach those who may never experience the Good News of God’s love.

Operation Christmas Child 2024

It's getting to be that time again when we see those green and red shoeboxes showing up around the church. Look for our Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box display in Mission Central over the next few weeks. We will be collecting shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and, most of all - love from our congregation and neighboring churches. These boxes will go out to over 110 countries worldwide and be placed in the hands of children in need.

Shoebox Packing Party - Saturday, November 9, 12-3 PM

Come join our Intergenerational Angel Wings as they host our 4th annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party. Be a part of the fun, meet new friends, enjoy some food, pack shoeboxes, and praise Jesus. All are welcome!

To make this packing party successful, we are looking for donations to fill the shoeboxes and sponsors to cover the shipping cost for each shoebox. Place donations in the OCC Box in Mission Central.

Shoebox Collection Week - November 18-25

Looking to volunteer but not sure where? We need volunteers to help collect these wonderful boxes during Shoebox Collection Week, when our church will be open extra hours to accept these gifts. If you can donate some time to act as an OCC representative and accept any boxes that may be dropped off during the week, we would love to have you! As we get closer to those dates, visit pendletonchurch.org/occ and look for a link to sign up to help.

Shoebox Sunday - November 24 after the 9:00 AM service

Join in after the 9:00 AM service on November 24 to help out with Shoebox Sunday. We'll be working together to pack up the shoeboxes into shipping cartons, load the trailer, and send them on their way to Eastern Hills church and the next step of their journey.
