Silver Linings - An Original Song
In this difficult time of separation, I’ve been encouraged and inspired by the blessings our congregation has been sharing. I wrote this song as a prayer to remember to focus on how God will use this time to make us better and stronger and to remember to look for the silver linings (Philippians 4:8) as He works all things for good (Romans 8:28). God bless!

Lyrics
Give us eyes to see You working
In the brokenness and pain
Help us see the silver linings
And the rainbows from the rain
Give us ears to hear Your promise
That You work all things for good
Help us be Your hands and feet on earth
And do the things we should
Silver Linings all around
They are where our hope is found
Silver Linings where darkness stood
You are working all things for good
So, I’ll look for the linings
The silver in the clouds
I’ll be somebody’s rainbow
God’s feet on the ground
Hard times that shape us
To be more like the Lord
We’re called to be servants
To bless the whole world
When we lose sight of Your goodness
Draw us back with songs of praise
As we sing the words of truth and hope
It’s our voices we will raise
Help us keep our hearts from closing
Focus on the light that shines
Be Your helpers with compassion
Be the branches to Your vine
